Panasonic's DVCPRO HD format is targeted at media-industry professionals, and as such the format delivers industry quality results. At eighteen micrometers, DVCPro HD has a relatively wide tape.
DVCPRO Tapes
All DVCPRO tapes are colour coded to allow the user to instantly know for which format it is designed. DVCPRO tapes have a yellow lid, DVCPRO 50 tapes have a blue lid and DVCPRO HD (or DVCPRO 100) tapes have a red lid. The tapes are however interchangeable between formats, but have a different running time.
