JVC GY-HM700CHE ProHD Camcorder JVC introduce the first compact on-shoulder camcorder to offer native file recording onto SDHC solid state media. The JVC GY-HM700 records in QuickTime format which is native for Apple’s Final Cut Pro which means the user eliminates the time consuming transfer step and dramatically speeds up post production workflow. It is possible to edit footage directly from the memory card and because no re-encoding takes place, you maintain first generation quality. The JVC HM700 has two memory cards slots enabling you to have enough storage for 6 hours of HD footage using two 32GB SDHC cards. The camera automatically starts recording on the second SDHC card when the first card is full up. When the second card is full, the camera will start recording on the first card again, allowing for unlimited recording lengths. The GYHM700 weighs less than 4kg so will sit comfortably on the camera operators shoulder and is perfectly balanced to provide steady, stable shots without causing fatigue.

The JVC GY-HM700 is equipped with a new sturdy high resolution digital viewfinder which displays images with more than five times the resolution of “typical” colour viewfinders.
JVC’s MPEG2 encoder provides highly efficient compression at bit rates up to 35Mbps and supports all major HD signal formats including 1920 x 1080, 1440 x 1080 and 1280 x 720. This Model shown is the GY-HM700CHE which includes just the HM700 Body and does not include a Lens.
