Product Information

Sony's compact and lightweight HVR-A1E offers a host of advanced features for the professional market. The Sony HVR-A1E uses CMOS technology allowing it to be an ultra-compact camcorder capable of providing HDV in full 1080 line resolution. As well as the compact look and affordability of the Sony HVR-A1E, users also benefit from a migration path from SD (Standard Definition) to HDV whilst retaining the qualities of the popular DVCAM range such as ease of use and i.LINK connectivity. The Sony HVR-A1E is fully equipped to provide users the flexibility to choose the format that suits the need of your production, be it DV, DVCAM or HDV.

High Definition at Affordable Prices

The Sony HVR-A1E further supports the notion that HD is for everyone. Using the HDV format, the HVR-A1E allows High Definition pictures to be captured on a standard mini DV tape - providing both a highly cost effective format and full 1080 line resolution.
