Like its predecessors, the Fujinon lenses A13x6.3 (for 2/3” format cameras) and S13x4.6 (for 1/2” format cameras) are setting new standards in high-quality wide-angle lenses for the professional user.
The new 13x lenses available with and without 2x extender are specifically designed to enhance the quality of today’s professional cameras. With the highest zoom ratio (13 x), the widest angle of view (almost 70° horizontally) available in this class and an optional built-in 2x-extender (a focal length of up to 162/120 mm), these lenses are the most avanced tools available to professional camera operators.
With their increased resolving power, the Fujinon professional 13x lenses sustain the improved resolution of the latest professional camera systems. Chromatic aberration in the new lenses has been reduced to values normally found only with broadcast lenses and further minimized ”pumping” (zooming effect when focusing) adds another useful feature, up to now almost exclusive to broadcast lenses.
