Sony PHU-60K 60GB HDD Recorder
The Sony PHU-60K is compatible with the PMW-EX1 and PMW-EX3. If you own a PMW-EX1 pre Oct 08 then you will need a firm wear upgrade which will allow use of the PHU-60K with the camera.
PHU-60K has been designed to enhance the workflow opportunities for XDCAM EX users. Using the now well established Express Card™ technology and a USB2.0
interface, our new hard disk benefits from an optimized protocol for controlling communication with PMW-EX(3) series cameras. This results in very stable data transfer during long recordings.

A shock proof buffer memory allows continuous recording during vibration or shock conditions.
A buffer memory allows recording as soon as the PHU-60K is turned on for faster XDCAM EX workflow.
A 3G Sensor detects excessive falls or rollovers and automatically parks the HDD head within the PHU-60K to prevent damage to the disk and protect your data.
