Beachtek's MCC-2 is a two-channel, audio adapter / bracket combo that lets you mount, connect and control two audio devices for camcorders or DSLR cameras. This adapter is designed to easily attach wireless mics and small, self powered, camera mounted microphones such as the popular Rode VideoMics that have unbalanced mini-plug connectors. Since the adapter is a passive device, it is completely noise-free for superb audio. The adapter is also virtually unclipable and offers an extremely wide dynamic range. No power or batteries are required to operate the adapter.
The MCC-2 is very easy to set up and use. The dual trim controls allow you to adjust the signal levels independently and the output switch lets you select mono or stereo operation. The rugged extruded aluminum chassis has 3 integrated mounting shoes to securely attach the wireless mics and shotguns. Its compact size fits neatly on top of any camcorder or DSLR camera that has a standard mounting shoe.
Ideal for use with DSLR cameras such as the Nikon D800 that have a headphone jack to allow you to monitor the audio.

Connect any combination such as two mono mics, one mono mic and wireless, or two wireless to your camera. You can also connect one stereo mic for plenty of versatility.

Three built-in shoe mounts provide a neat and efficient way to attach your mics and wireless to your camera. The two mono mini-jack and one stereo inputs provide plenty of versatility. Controlling the audio levels is a snap real volume knobs mean no hunting through multi-layer menus trying to find or change settings. Since the audio is recorded directly to the camera, it will always be in sync with the video which eliminates the need for syncing in post.

With no electronics to get in the way, the MCC-2 provides noise free directly to the camera. The adapter is also virtually unclipable and offers an extremely wide dynamic range. Since it is passive, no batteries are required to operate the adapter.
Easily Adjust Your Recording Levels
Dual trim controls allow you to adjust each channel independently
Adjust the proper recording levels even while recording – something not possible on most cameras. You can even set two different levels on both channels when using a mono mic giving you a backup in case one channel is blown out. Volume controls are drift free to ensure reliable operation.

Simple flick of a switch selects output mode
Connect two channels of audio for stereo operation or use a single channel and set the output mode switch to MONO to send the signal to both the left and right channels in the camera.
