Bright Tangerine Canon C500 Mk II/C300 Mk III/C200/C700 Left Field QR Baseplate
Add a low profile 15mm LWS baseplate to your Canon C500 Mk II, C200, C300 Mk III or C700 for fast and secure mounting with the Open•UP quick release system. Move from setup to setup by lifting the camera off a dovetail for handheld shooting.
The Canon C500 Mk II/C300 Mk III/C200/C700 Left Field QR Baseplate lets you mount 15mm LWS based accessories like a follow focus, lens support and more while providing a quick release base for the camera using an ARRI standard dovetail.
The baseplate uses the patented Open•UP Quick Release system to work with any standard ARRI dovetail and can also be used with the low profile Left Field ARRI Dovetail Plate to quickly go from tripod to shoulder mount or gimbal. The sliding base also helps to provide optimal balance for the camera operator.
The three-stage lever lets you vertically release, slide and securely lock into place. The dual safety mechanism prevents any accidental releases. Safety stops on the bottom of the baseplate engage with full size ARRI dovetail safety stops and can be retracted when used with the Left Field Dovetail plate, perfect for transitioning from from tripod to shoulder mount or gimbal. The sliding base also helps to provide optimal balance for the camera operator.
The baseplate mounts two industry-standard 15mm rods which are secured with the kip levers. If you need to travel frequently or pack light, two sets of shorter rods can be used to create a longer rod mount. If a single set of long rods is used, the front and rear kip levers can be used to provide extra rigidity.
The riser adapter is interchangeable to use the baseplate with other cameras.
Designed to last, the baseplate is machined from a single block of aluminium to handle the most extreme environments.
