The NVW-150 Camera-Top High Power WiFi Bridging Unit from Datavideo is a powerful miniature camera top WiFi transmitter, which can be powered by a main power outlet or a variety of battery solutions via a 2-pin LEMO connector.

You can connect any network enabled device via an Ethernet connection to the NVW-150 which can then be linked to a second NVW-150 or NVW-250 unit.

The NVW-150 uses MIMO technology with 26dBm (aggregate) transmit power and carrier class receiver sensitivity. The device is designed to be mounted on to any cameras hot/cold shoe and powered from any DC source from 5 to 20 volts or via power over Ethernet (9-24v). It comes with two 3dBi omni-directional antennas ideal for use in short to medium range environments.

A built-in LED signal strength indicator allows you to remain within range, while the unit will automatically adjust transmission rates and channel numbers based on current link conditions. In more challenging environments, the devices comprehensive web interface offers a full site survey.The NVW-150 uses completely unlicensed 5Ghz bands and complies with IEEE802.11d global standards for license free operation worldwide, offering transmission speeds of up to 300Mbps and ranges in excess of 0.25Km (standard antenna) / 10km (external antenna and height dependent) while staying below the UKs 30 dBm EIRP power limit.

The NVW-150 supports multiple operating modes, in addition to the standard point to point mode Point to multipoint mode allows you to connect multiple NVW-150 units together. The unit can act as a high-powered wireless router, in this mode the Ethernet port becomes the WAN port. The unit is ideal for use with Datavideo NVS-20 H264 encoder and NVD-20 decoder (sold separately).

Standard Datavideo Warranty Period - One Year

Datavideo equipment is guaranteed against any manufacturing defects for one year from the date of purchase. The original purchase invoice or other documentary evidence should be supplied at the time of any request for repair under warranty. The product warranty period begins on the purchase date. If the purchase date is unknown, the product warranty period begins on the thirtieth day after shipment from a Datavideo office.

  • Damage caused by accident, misuse, unauthorized repairs, sand, grit or water is not covered under warranty. 
  • Viruses and malware infections on the computer systems are not covered under warranty. 
  • Any errors that are caused by unauthorized third-party software installations, which are not required by our computer systems, are not covered under warranty.

Extended Datavideo Warranty Period - Three Years

All Datavideo products purchased after July 1st, 2017 qualify for a free two years extension to the standard warranty, providing the product is registered with Datavideo within 30 days of purchase. The three-year warranty must be registered on Datavideo's official website or with your local Datavideo office or one of its authorized distributors within 30 days of purchase.

  • Please note: Certain parts with limited lifetime expectancy such as LCD panels, DVD drives, Hard Drive, Solid State Drive, SD Card, USB Thumb Drive, Lighting, Camera module, PCIe Card are covered for 1 year.
