The RØDE MiConTM connector system provides seamless integration between the RØDE HS1 headset,PinMic and Lavalier microphones and a wide range of wireless systems. The MICON-1 is designed to connect to the Sennheiser transmitters SK 500 G3, SK 300 G3, SK 100 G3, SK 500 G2, SK 300 G2, SK 2 Freeport Sennheiser and the Sennheiser products listed are registered names and trademarks owned by Sennheiser.

All RØDE Microphones products are warranted for one year from date of purchase. Depending on the microphone model the warranty can be extended to five years, ten years or lifetime (subject to terms & conditions ) by registering the details of your purchase using this form.

The RØDE Microphones extended warranty gives you the peace of mind that your investment is protected for many years to come.

How do I register for the RØDE extended warranty?


Registration for the extended warranty can be made by completing our online registration form.

Once registered you warranty will be extended to either 10 years, 5 years capped or lifetime, depending on your product.

What is the procedure for returning a faulty product?

Please view our FAQ to try and troubleshoot the issue. If you believe the microphone is at fault please contact our distributor in your country of residence for the correct procedure for returning your product. To find your nearest distributor please use our technical support finder here.

DO NOT send any product back to RØDE without first obtaining a unique RMA number from us.

Is my microphone covered by a service warranty?

RØDE microphones come with a 1 year manufacturers warranty, this can be upgraded to one of our free extended warranties by the registration of the microphone on our website. Please register your microphone using the WARRANTY tab above.

Our warranty covers faulty workmanship and faulty components. RØDE may either repair or replace the product at their sole discretion. The product must be returned to the service centre in the country that the product was purchased for service and repair.

Please note: the warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, nor the use of the product in heavily corrosive, polluted or extremely humid environments.

I want to buy a RØDE mic from overseas. Will the warranty be valid?

The warranty is only valid in the country of purchase so in the unlikely event that the mic were to fail it would need to be returned to the country of purchase for repair.

Alternatively, the mic can be sent to a local distributor but they may (at their discression) charge an admin fee for repairing a product that was not bought locally. As we offer a 10 year warranty this is always worth considering when adding up the initial cost of the mic.

 

Can I still get support for my legacy/discontinued product?

Yes, at RØDE we support our products for as long as possible, many years into their retirement. We understand that you will often have a "go to" mic that you simply cannot work without and we will do everything we can to assist with the repairs of these legacy products.

Spare parts are usually available so please contact your local service agent for assistance with these repairs.


What information should I include with a service/repair request?

The best way to request a service is to register your microphone for warranty and then request a service via the 'My Mics' page.

If you are requesting a service or repair of a product via email please let us know the following information:

  2. Serial number 
  3. Basic fault description
  4. Your return address
  5. Your contact phone number

With this information we will be able to quickly provide you with further assistance for your product.
