The Ninja V + was announced alongside the Ninja Stream, but we've finally had a chance to get our hand on one in the video above.
Just like the original Ninja V, the Ninja V+ is a great monitor recorder, with all the same UI as the Ninja V just with a more beefy processor inside, which is what allows it to record 8K up to 30p, and 4K up to 120p in ProRes RAW. In the video above we take a look at the quality improvements, the Ninja V+ offers over the internal recording in its high frame rates. Now it's worth mentioning that shortly after we recorded this video, Atomos announced a firmware update that would allow the Ninja V & Ninja V+ to record metadata for white balance which we, unfortunately, did not get to test how this will affect white balance recovery on the Ninja V+.
