The SWIT PB-M98S or SWIT's Mini V-Lock, has been a very popular battery, which we've already given a run over here.
Essentially, it's a very small V-Lock battery with a 98Wh capacity and an 8 amp power draw. It's safe to say these V-Locks are great. They take up much less room in your kit bag and they weigh less, so they're great for lightweight camera rigs where you still want a good battery run time.
SWIT's KA-M20S is designed specifically for the PM-M98S, and it fits two PB-M98S batteries on the back. Now sure, this does neglect the size advantage of the PB-M98S, but it allows for hot-swapping your batteries in what still is a really compact setup.
So if you need to run a camera off of V-Lock's for long periods of time, without shutting down your camera, this is worth taking a look at.
You don't need to worry about any sort of setup, (other than slapping the plate onto your camera, with a few charged batteries attached) as the plate will automatically drain one battery before moving onto the second. There are also separate power indicators for each battery on the side, so it's easy to see how much juice is left.
Hot-swapping isn't the only feature of the plate however, there's also a high load, or high power draw mode. Now, this mode is used for powering cameras or lights that draw more power than one single PB-M98S can handle. The plate will swap over to this mode automatically and will draw power from both batteries at once, so you won't be able to hot-swap the batteries when attached to rather power-hungry pieces of kit.
