Swit is very well known for their high-quality batteries. At NAB this year they showed off two new batteries, a brand new V-Lock battery which features a smart level indicator that tells the user the percentage of charge that the battery has. As well as a new full-sized USB charging port, which can be used for anything from your smartphone, or Swits new wireless DMX transmitter (which not so coincidentally is powered by USB).
Next is an exiting product, which is likely to be the first ever third-party battery for the Canon C200 & C300 MKII, this intelligently designed battery doesn't provide power in the usual way, however. When you mount the battery on the camera, the battery won't power the camera. The power comes from the batteries D-tap port and plugs straight into the cameras mains port. The D-tap port has been intelligently designed to be able to plug a second D-tap cable in on top, allowing users to use external monitors & accessories all off of the camera battery.
