Wise C-Fast, SD & SSD for the BMPCC 4K

Wise Media

So there's no doubting the popularity of the BMPCC 4K, it's a camera that is packed full of features, but sits at a very affordable price point. But having to deal with which of your media can handle all of the different codecs, resolutions and framerates that the BMPCC 4K can handle, can sometimes be a headache. Wise, has a complete solution, where all of their media is compatible with everything the BMPCC 4K can currently throw out, which removes any doubt, whether or not that SD card you've put in, can handle the 4K 60fps in BM RAW that you'd like to record. BMPCC 4K Wise

So the BMPCC 4K has three media options, SD cards, Cfast 2.0 and SSD via the USB-C port, and Wise has options for all of them. The SSD is the one which catches our eye because of its price point in relation to other media, as its much more affordable. The Wise SSD's have a longer form factor than some of the other options out there, which go for a shorter, wider form factor, and require extra rigging to attach them to the camera. BMPCC 4K Wise

The Wise SSD not only sits out of the way on top of your camera (helping to prevent accidental knocking of the USB-C port which could come loose if knocked), but it also comes with the mounting bracket in the box. You don't even need a cage for the BMPCC 4K if you don't want one, the bracket screws right into the thread on the top of the camera, and you're ready to go.BMPCC 4K Wise

Using SSD's as your capture media of choice when its available to you, can be extremely valuable for fast turnaround projects, as you can take the SSD off of the camera, plug it into your computer, and edit straight off of the drive (we, of course, recommend that you back everything up first).BMPCC 4K Wise
