We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic content creator to work alongside our Head of Technical Marketing and Graphic Designer in our marketing department.  

Main Responsibilities: 

  • Product photography, stills and video for a variety of purposes 
  • Producing, filming and editing the video content for our Youtube channel ProAV TV 
  • Providing technical support to the sales team 
  • Supporting our events and workshops across the country 
  • Evaluating and informing our customers of the latest product releases in the industry 
  • Developing the branding and visibility of ProAV across our online platforms 

About you: 

A successful applicant would have a keen enthusiasm for video and technology, alongside a strong work ethic and independent approach. 

We are looking for the following key attributes: 

  • Skilled at camera operation, lighting and sound 
  • Experience editing in either FCP X, Resolve or Premiere 
  • Strong knowledge of professional video technology and products 
  • Comfortable with being on camera for product demonstration videos and interviews

Sales Account Manager - REF: 466407

A great opportunity to join a growing business specialising in the Professional Audio Visual market. Proactive are a leading supplier of AV equipment with fully authorised accounts for the leading manufacturers in the industry. Based in a busy sales team in our Hemel Hempstead office the successful candidate should have at least 2 years’ experience in the industry and will benefit from an excellent working environment, state of the art showroom, friendly and enthusiastic team and a generous commission structure rewarding sales growth.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales targets through existing and new channels
  • Developing and maintaining client relationships through excellent account management
  • Managing client data, updating client records within CRM
  • Working with the Technical Support Team for general client activities, demonstration days, promotions, marketing campaigns etc
  • Assisting with strategic activities / target growth
  • Providing telephone assistance and advice to clients
  • Performing product demonstrations both in house and on customers site where applicable

Account Admin Office Assistant - REF: 466422

Proav uses SAP Business One for its’ business software and Microsoft 365 for mail and will migrate to this solution for all other documents.

Salary: £20,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
Location: Hemel Hempstead Office

Main Responsibilities:

  • Daily bank reconciliation, Sterling, Euro and USD accounts.
  • Daily reconciliation of Credit Card and PayPal receipts from both the web sales and personal callers.
  • Arrangement of foreign currency payments.
  • Checking and inputting Supplier Stock invoices and matching these to the Goods Receipt note on SAP. Attaching relevant emailed supplier invoices to the SAP invoice for statutory retention purposes.
  • Checking and inputting Supplier Service invoices into SAP making sure that they are not duplicated and where a monthly service exists, the invoice has been received and accounted for. Attaching relevant emailed supplier invoices to the SAP invoice for statutory retention purposes.
  • Generating Customer invoices and emailing these, (automatic process) from deliveries through SAP.
  • Creating Credit Notes for approved returned items and issuing refunds.
  • Creating composite invoices for customers who purchase through Asset Finance.
  • Uploading some customer invoices to proprietary software systems where our SAP produced invoices are not acceptable. EG BBC, Oracle, Brunel and Bournemouth Universities.
  • Resolving account disputes for both suppliers and customers.
  • Reconciling both Customer and Supplier accounts in a timely manner.
  • Paying supplier invoices using the payment wizard within SAP.
  • Quarterly VAT reconciliation and submission.
  • As directed by the Accounts Manager, ensure compliance with European imports and exports post Brexit keeping detailed records and applying associated import costs to stock with correct VAT accounting.
  • As directed by the Accounts Manager, liaise with our import / export partners to make sure the effects of Brexit runs smoothly
  • Reconciling the HMRC Postponed VAT Statements.
  • Reconciling the HMRC Deferred Tax Statements.
  • In conjunction with the Account Manager, preparing the accounts for year-end auditing.
  • We are a small company and whilst everyone had their own role on occasions it is necessary to help out in other departments. We also have Supplier open days which can involve everyone to some degree.

This is a Full Time position based in our Hemel Hemsptead office with hours Mon-Fri 9am-5.30pm.

Entitled to join the company Pension Scheme
Holiday entitlement: 22 days plus 8 public holidays.
Contract length: 6 months renewable
