Sales Account Manager - REF: 466407

A great opportunity to join a growing business specialising in the Professional Audio Visual market. Proactive are a leading supplier of AV equipment with fully authorised accounts for the leading manufacturers in the industry. Based in a busy sales team in our Hemel Hempstead office the successful candidate should have at least 2 years’ experience in the industry and will benefit from an excellent working environment, state of the art showroom, friendly and enthusiastic team and a generous commission structure rewarding sales growth.

Salary - Competitive & negotiable.

Location - Hemel Hempstead Office

Main Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales targets through existing and new channels
  • Developing and maintaining client relationships through excellent account management
  • Managing client data, updating client records within CRM
  • Working with the Technical Support Team for general client activities, demonstration days, promotions, marketing campaigns etc
  • Assisting with strategic activities / target growth
  • Providing telephone assistance and advice to clients
  • Performing product demonstrations both in house and on customers site where applicable

Key Attributes:

  • A proven track record in sales
  • To communicate effectively with people at all levels
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • A good knowledge of Pro AV technology (additional training will be provided)
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and helpful approach

Technical Consultant - REF: 798200 

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic technical consultant to join our team here at ProAV. Day to day activities will consist of providing product demonstrations to our customer base and technical support to our sales staff, while maintaining and organising our large product showroom and fleet of demo equipment. This will require an in depth understanding of the products sold by ProAV, as well as the wider professional video equipment industry. 

Our technical consultants are responsible for providing product knowledge and support for the company as a whole. We work with the sales team to ensure customers of ProAV have all the information they require to make educated and informed purchasing decisions, and the customer service team to help support our customers post sale with any technical queries or issues that they have. This pre sale support consists of product demonstrations (both in our showroom and external locations), liaising with customers while building kit list requirements, producing high quality video content for our youtube channel and online platforms, and hosting regular events and workshops across the country. 

Salary - Competitive & negotiable depending on experience.

Location - Hemel Hempstead Office

  • Leading product demonstrations to customers 
  • Providing technical support to the sales team 
  • Providing technical support to the customer service team
  • Assisting the web team with product knowledge 
  • Day to day management of ProAV’s demo and loan stock 
  • Arranging delivery and collections of demo equipment 
  • Collaborating on written/video content for our blog and youtube channel
